The List Post
I heart lists. I mean, I heart lists. Mandy recently posted her top 5 (10 really) favorite shows as a kid. I have been meaning to post a lot of lists, but haven’t really been able to fit any of them into one post, so I’m making a post just for lists. Lucky you, I know.
Top Shows as A Kid
- Hey Dude/Salute Your Shorts - Sorry, this has to be a tie.
- Doug - I still have some of this shit taped. On VHS. Now I can just download it on iTunes.
- Fraggle Rock - This show was the shit.
- Gummi Bears - It’s sad, but I only know a couple of people that remember this show. Mandy is one of them.
- He-Man - I don’t care if he’s gay. He was the shit. I even had a He-Man birthday cake when I was younger.
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Leonardo was my favorite. One year, I made my mom make me two birthday cakes. One for the family party, the other for my friend party. Leonardo was one of them, Donatello was the other. Sweet shit.
- Thundercats/Transformers - Um, hello?!? Why wouldn’t these be on here?
- ALF - If you don’t like ALF, I’m sorry, but I cannot be your friend. I’m only sort of kidding on that one.
- Alvin and The Chipmunks - I still have my Alvin stuffed animal. It’s awesome.
- Mr. Wizard - Probably the show that changed the course of my life: If science were a woman, I would marry her and have children with her.
