hp.jpgLast night, Ness and I went and saw Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix along with her dad and her brother. If you’ve seen any of the previous movies, you know that they leave a lot of stuff out of the movies that were in the books. But that’s ok though, because the movies are still great.

We got our tickets early, knowing that it would be busy when Midnight came around and most likely would be sold out. The theater we went to had 5 movie theater’s open for Harry Potter. They were pretty full, but not quite sold out.

The atmosphere was really nice, which made the movie more enjoyable, and for the most part, people were polite about things and didn’t make it crappy. That’s always a good thing.

Ness and I were very excited to be able to watch the movie. We didn’t think we’d be able to go for a little bit longer, but we lucked out and convinced her brother to go see Harry Potter instead of The Transformers. We had some high expectations, and usually when I have high expectations, I’m disappointed at the end. I also took into consideration that the reviews I’ve seen for the movie have been 50/50.

When it was all said and done, the movie was excellent. It obviously didn’t cover everything in the books, but if it had, then it would’ve been a six hour movie. But I’m more than satisfied with everything that they did put in the movie. The only things they left out were things that I would have liked to see, but not anything that really needed to be seen.

If you haven’t seen this one yet, go get your tickets. All four of us loved it and I didn’t hear anyone at the movie theater complaining about it. It’s definitely a great movie, so go see it in the theater. There’s no need to wait till the DVD comes out.

I’m jealous, I can’t wait… But I hate seeing movies where there are people dressed up like characters, which always happens when I see harry potter at midnight or on opening days. So I think we’re going this weekend, if I can tear the boys away from the wii.

Actually, I didn’t see too many people dressed up. Only one or two, which I thought was odd since there are usually dozens. :)

I know. I’m so excited. Friday is going to kick some major ass. Hopefully, I won’t be sick still. We’re planning on going to one of those parties before hand.
