I woke up this afternoon, yea I did say afternoon, and went downstairs.  My dad asked me to come over and taste this sauce that my mom was making.  First, I don’t like to do that because they put pepperoni in their sauce…and can I just yuck.  I don’t like pepperoni, or most pork for that matter, so I was a bit against it.  But I did, because he seemed to need something answered.

I tasted it, it tasted spicy.  He started bitching because the sauce was ruined.  Well, it didn’t taste that bad, but let’s keep in mind that I don’t like spicy.  So he asked me to taste a meatball, which was recently put in the sauce.  Yep, it tasted spicy too.  He started bitching again, because not only did he fuck up the sauce and waste money on that, he wasted money on a shitload of beef for the meatballs.  I happened to like the way the meatballs tasted.

My dad, in his own mind, is a fucking genius.  He had this bright idea top rinse off the sauce from the meatballs and re-fry them.  Maybe they wouldn’t taste like the spicy sauce anymore.  Who gets stuck performing this mans brilliant idea?  I do.  I spent about an hour rinsing off meatballs.  Yea, I know.

I dug through the sauce, pulling out all the meatballs, placed them all in a big bowl.  I then turned on the water and gently rinsed off all the sauce from the meatballs and placed them in a new bowl.  My mom re-fried them.  I have no idea if his awesome idea worked because I was laughing too hard to stay downstairs and find out.
