I’ll tell you a little story about my night. It was going great. Actually, I was in a very productive mood. I was working on my CSS Reboot design and was feeling quite pleased with the progress I was making. Then, out of nowhere, my internet goes caput. Which isn’t really that big of a deal since the wireless has never really been all the reliable; it’ll usually come back on in a couple of minutes and if that doesn’t work you just reset the modem and the router and all is fine. But this time the modem wouldn’t reset.

I was a bit worried since it was ruining my productive mood and I had even been thinking about joining 9rules. I even built up enough confidence to call Tech Support at Time Warner and was told that it had something to do with all the crazyness in Buffalo and that they weren’t sure when it would work, but that they thought it would be on by morning if not sooner. Well, I was a bit disheartened by the news that it might not be on until morning, but I took it and I started watching tv. Besides, it gave me time to spend with my dog, Ralphie.

I’ve been checking on the laptop whether or not the modem kicked back in and after around 5 hours, it now works, but I don’t know for how long. So, just in case it goes out again, I went ahead and submitted my site to 9rules. I’d liked to get in but there are a lot of great sites out there, so we’ll just wait and see.
