i am awesome

I’m “home”

Leaving San Diego was literally painful.  Leaving Gaby was literally painful. It sucked.

Well, it was a good thing we left early for the airport, because I read the flight wrong and it acutally left at 10:15 and not 10:51.  I barely made it.  I wouldn’t have cared if I missed it anyway.

The flights weren’t that bad. The flight to D.C. was a bit boring.  It was long and I didn’t feel like watching the movie that was playing (Cars).  I had a window seat (as always) because I absolutely have to be able to see what’s going on.  Even if it’s pitch black out and all I can see is the wing or the engine, that’s fine.  We landed in D.C. earlier than we were supposed to and I had about 3 hours to kill for my connecting flight to Buffalo.  I walked around checking out what there was to eat and trying to find a cheap phone card.  I couldn’t find a phone card I could afford and get food too, I chose food because by the time we landed I was starving and my stomach was growling.  So I bought a chocolate chip muffin and a smoothie and went and sat at my gate.

When we could finally board, I found out we were on a small express plane and that I would be sitting next to someone.  It was a tight fit and we were practically on each other’s laps but it was only a 45 flight so we put up with it.

My family was waiting when I went to baggage claim.  I didn’t even recognize my two little sisters.  They got so big.  After getting a hug from everyone, we went and picked up my duffel bags and started for Olean.  It’s about an hour and a half drive from the Buffalo airport.

Probably one of the only reasons that I was happy about coming home was my dog, Ralphie.  When I walked in the house he started barking at me but then I told him to shut up and he jumped on me and licked me to death.  Since then he’s been following me everywhere and won’t let me out of his sight.

That’s about all that’s been going on.  I haven’t really done anything interesting.  I don’t know what I’ll be doing later, but I have signed up for CSS Reboot, so I’ll probably work on that later for a bit.
