Things You Should Know About #5

Vote
With the 2006 elections just around the corner knowing the issues, being involved, and voting are more important than ever. The political landscape of the U.S. could change drastically with this election. The Dems could take back Congress or the Republicans could keep control.
Either way, you should still be concerned about the issues and still vote. No matter what you think, your vote does count.
Issues
Americans are concerned about a number of issues going into the 2006 elections. Gas prices were ridiculously high over the summer, will it sky-rocket again next summer? What about the War in Iraq? The War on Terror? The economy? Health Care? The rising cost of tuition and the lack of financial aid and the increase in student debt? Global Warming?
If you aren’t registered to vote, do it now. In most states you need to register 30 days before the election. You can also register to get an absentee ballot if you are away at school so you don’t have an excuse for not voting other than ignorance.
What are you most concerned about?
