CA. to cut emissions 25% by 2020
In an effort to curb the effects that carbon dioxide has on the environment, the governator and the state legislature passed a bill that would cut carbon dioxide emissions 25% by 2020. This is by far one of the most advanced policies set in place in the U.S.
It would make California the first state in the nation to fight global warming by slapping caps on carbon dioxide and other emissions. - LA Times
I only wish that the Federal government would make the same leap.
